Heart & Soul
We are proud to introduce you to the heart and soul of the Mr. David's team. All of these men started Mr. David's working on their hands and knees as installers and progressed to management as the company grew. Take a moment to get an inside look at the core of Mr. David's.

| Tony ZmijewskiCompany Mascot High School: Dogs 4 Life Whole Dog Training Home Town: Aurora Current Town: Glen Ellyn Favorite Employee: Uncle Michael
Bio: Tony came to Mr. David's in September of 2010 after being rescued from a shelter by Leonard. He is thought to be a four year old Havanese/Terrier mix, though only Tony is the only one who'll even know for sure. Like everyone, Tony has his prickly days, but he can usually be found lounging the day away in a chair in Dad's office or near one of his many aunts or uncles.

| Leonard ZmijewskiPresident High School: West Lyden High School '72 Home Town: Northlake Current Town: Glen Ellyn Signature Car: 1960 Corvette
Bio: As the business-oriented entrepreneur, Leonard is well known for his uncanny memory for numbers--contract amounts, profit percentages, dates--he remembers them all! Colleagues are quick to point out Leonard's love of skiing and snowmobiling, but he loves spending time out on his boat even more. Employees of Mr. David's also know about his (not so) secret sweet tooth. Candy orange slices, anyone?

| David ZmijewskiSecretary High School: West Lyden High School '72 Home Town: Northlake Current Town: Glen Ellyn Signature Car: 1957 Thunderbird
Bio: As the operations-oriented entrepreneur, David rarely spends time at his desk--he much prefers spending time in the field or on the floor of his office figuring cuts on giant blueprints! If the Beatles can be heard throughout the office, it's a guarantee that it's coming from David's office. He truly enjoys working through puzzles and playing card games, yet also loves to ski. David's favorite pastime? Being the company prankster.

| Michael ZmijewskiVice President High School: Glenbard North '86 Home Town: Northlake Current Town: Glen Ellyn Signature Car: 1967 Mustang
Bio: As the younger brother of Leonard and David, Michael has grown up in the flooring industry. Michael has worn many hats in his Mr. David’s career, from warehouse to deliveries, installer to salesperson, settling into his current role at Mr. David’s in 2008. Michael definitely has a competitive streak especially when it comes to racing--he's been known to race anything from bikes to golf carts!

| Tom NowickiVice President of Operations High School: East Leyden '71 Home Town: Chicago (Southside) Current Town: Plainfield Signature Car: Ford pickup truck
Bio: When it comes to Tom, what you see is what you get. He's renowed for his no-nonsense approach to managing the installers. The consistency and stability Tom brings to the company has made him the rock of Mr. David's. When he isn't in the office (which is rare) Tom can be found on the lake, as he is an avid muskie fisherman. His best quality at Mr. David's? His absolutely unfailing dedication to customer service.
